Trinity Industries, Inc. (NYSE:TRN) today announced the election of
Antonio Carrillo as Vice President and Jared S. Richardson as its
Secretary and Associate General Counsel.
Mr. Carrillo joined Trinity in 1996 as Vice President of Operations of
Trinity Industries de Mexico and in 1999 was promoted to President of
Trinity Industries de Mexico. In 2005, he was named President of
Trinity's Energy Equipment Group, which includes the Company's
structural wind towers business as well as businesses that manufacture
tank containers, tank heads, and propane tanks. In 2009, he was named
Group President of the Energy Equipment Group and retains responsibility
for Trinity's operations in Mexico.
Prior to joining Trinity, Mr. Carrillo worked for McKinsey and as the
General Manager for a welding products subsidiary of Air Products and
Chemicals.
A native of Mexico City, Mr. Carrillo graduated from the Anahuac
University in Mexico City with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He
then received an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of
Pennsylvania with majors in Finance and Accounting.
Mr. Richardson joined Trinity earlier this year. Prior to Trinity, Mr.
Richardson served as Senior Counsel and Assistant Secretary for Energy
Future Holdings Corp. (formerly TXU Corp.). During his time there, he
was involved in virtually all aspects of corporate governance and
corporate secretary matters, including regulatory compliance, proxy
statement preparation, director recruiting and creation of internal
policies on a range of topics.
Prior to joining Energy Future Holdings, Mr. Richardson worked in the
corporate and securities section of the law firm of Locke Liddell & Sapp
LLP (now Locke Lord Bissell & Liddell LLP) in its Dallas office. At the
firm, he represented both public and private clients on a broad range of
corporate matters, including mergers, acquisitions, securities
offerings, corporate governance and regulatory compliance.
A native of Louisiana, Mr. Richardson graduated with honors from Brigham
Young University with a B.A. in political science and earned his J.D.
from Harvard Law School.
