Hello Trinity Stakeholders,

As the global pandemic of COVID-19 and the unprecedented responses continue to unfold, Trinity Industries is taking vigilant action to support all of our stakeholders. Our top priority remains the health and safety of our employees, as well as continuing to support our customers and operations.

At Trinity, we all play an important part in supporting the continuity of our operations and in our Nation’s response to COVID-19. As part of its response to this pandemic, the United States government recently cited the continuing operations of the rail and highway industries as critical to our country’s response efforts. Our work – the manufacture, provision, maintenance, and repair of rail and highway equipment – is essential to supporting the railroads and road transportation systems, as they deliver food, fuel, medicine and other supplies that will sustain the Nation. While we are proud to provide these important services to our Country, we remain committed to ensuring the health and safety of our employees and the residents of the communities in which we live and work.

We are following recommendations from the CDC and other health organizations to slow the spread of the virus through social distancing, cleanliness, and appropriate hygiene. Our manufacturing operations have implemented staggered shifts and breaks at our facilities and instituted additional safety procedures that keep our employees safe and healthy. Janitorial staff has also increased the frequency of cleanings in our offices and facilities, and we currently have a good supply of cleaning products to continue keeping our workplaces sanitary. Trinity’s corporate office has also instituted an emergency telecommuting policy for appropriate business support functions. I am very pleased with how our administrative teams are collaborating and communicating regularly about recommended best practices, as well as instituting appropriate health, travel, and visitation policies and procedures.

Trinity Industries is aware of the impact this pandemic has on our businesses, our families, and our communities. We are committed to being a good partner and citizen in the communities in which we live and work. We will make every effort to continue providing updated information to our stakeholders regarding our policies and procedures for the COVID-19 pandemic using this site and other direct forms of communication.
